| John Blackwell sat on the armchair, quietly. He was reading Cassie's Book of Shadows. She let him borrow it to read the entries that Amelia had put in their. He was surprised that Cassie didn't know about them. She also told him everything that had happened to her and her friends while I was away. Isaac at first, was the problem, but now Eben has become the issue. Eben had stooped so low, by killing his own followers, just so he could kill us. What's worse is, is that he's using Demons to attack us, putting them inside other Witch Hunters. John closed the Book of Shadows, tears forming down his face. I should've been there, he thought. Now, Cassie has big doubt's of because of that one mistake. He also thought of Diana. He had just recently told her that he was her father instead of Charles. Diana has avoided all contact with him, and he can also uncomfortableness whenever she's face-to-face with him. He wanted to make her feel comfortable - not feel uneasy about him. He set the book down the coffee table, getting up from armchair, leaving the house. He like exploring the forest around his residence, As, he left the house, the light shining dimly on his coat from the porch light became a shroud of darkness, stepping deeper into the forest. |

| I lost Adam thanks to that stupid elixer to break that curse. He doesn't feel anything romantic towards me anymore. Now Diana doesn't even want to talk to me let alone see me. She's my sister, we couldn't believe it, but she doesn't want to be like me. She doesn't want to have dark magic ruining her life. It's not like I want my dark magic but I can't do anything to change who I am. I let out a heavy sigh as I pulled up to the abandoned house, which was my father's house. I parked, got out and headed towards the porch. The porch light was on but no one ended up being there. So I figured I'd take a walk to clear my head.
I ended up wondering into the dark woods pretty far. I was lost in thought and almost jumped out of my skin. I shrieked when I saw a dark silhouette come out from around a tree. I stopped when I noticed who it was. "Jeez Dad, you scared the hell out of me! What are you doing out here?" | |

| John smiled as he saw his daughter. He realized that she seemed to be stressed out. "Hello, Cassie. I'm just exploring the forest around the house. I love exploring around here. I used plant some herbs here in this spot for remedies." He said smiling at her, trying to bring up a friendly conversation. "Is something wrong, Cassie?" John asked, giving Cassie a curious look. "You know, I'm here to talk." John said smiling, walking closer to his daughter. He wanted Cassie to trust him more then anything. Diana, however, would need some time to cope with what John had recently told her. John could see - no, feel how Cassie felt ... alone. John hated the feeling, so he tried to comfort her. "So, are you going to tell me what's wrong?" John asked politely, conjuring a happy smile, stretching across his face. Hopefully, I will make Cassie and Diana smile, John thought. |

| "I know I can talk to you." I just don't trust you completely. I mentally added to myself. The last time I trusted someone when they just walked into my life, it ended up biting me in the ass. I let out a heavy sigh. "Diana and I basically got into a fight." Diana wasn't the type of person to get into any type of fight. "I probably lost my best friend who turned out to be my sister. She doesn't want to be anything like me, she thinks I'm evil." | |

| John listened to Cassie, hearing about Diana getting into an argument. Cassie even said that she doesn't want to be anything like her. John smiled, and sighed. "Cassie, you're not evil," John said, smiling. "You are a sweet and kind young woman, and don't you forget that." John added, walking closer to Cassie, putting his hands on her shoulders. "As for Diana, she's trying to adapt to her being my child." John said, looking at Cassie sincerely. "All she needs is time." John said, smiling at his daughter. "We better go inside the house." John said, looking around. The Witch Hunters could be anywhere, even right under our noses without us knowing. John turned around, starting to walk towards the house. |

| "I know!" I wasn't going to let my dark magic control me. I just couldn't, I didn't want to lose myself to it. "I know she's trying to adapt to the idea. It's just that she's always been there for me and now she doesn't want me to be there for her." I let out a heavy sigh, as my father released my shoulders. He told me that we should go inside, which he was probably right. "Yeah you're probably right!" I said as I pulled my jacket tighter around me. The night air was getting chilly as we headed towards the house. Congrats you've passed the Audition for John Blackwell! Just don't forget that John Blackwell has a dark side. | |
